The count of Monte Cristo is a popular historical novel, the masterpiece of the famous French writer Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870). The story of the nineteenth Century French emperor Napoleon "hundred days" period, the Pharaoh mate Edmund Tantas was commissioned captain, sent a letter to Napoleon by two party, scumbag (Don Gerard and Fernandez) framed and judges, was sent to prison. The inmates of father Faria to teach him all kinds of knowledge, and tell the buried in the island of Monte Cristo a secret treasure before his death. Dantes escape after finding the treasure, to become wealthy, and the count of Monte Cristo (a pseudonym of samba, carefully planned seaman), repay the benefactor, punish the enemy.

Screen1--- A wicked plan

{background} The surf  was patting the land, and the ship Pharaoh came into the port. 

One day in February 1810, this Pharaoh came into the French port of Marseilles. A man watched it from the harbor. When he saw the Pharaoh, he got into a small boat and went out to it, A young, handsome man stood waiting on the Pharaoh. The older man in the small ball called out to the young man.[act like this]

Morrel : Is it you? What happened to the captain?

Dantes[took off his hat]: A very sad thing, Mr. Morrel. [sad] When our ship was near Civitavecchia, we lost our brave Captain Leclere. 

Morre[very worry]: The cargo? Is the cargo safe?

Dantes: It's all safe, Mr.Morrel.

{background} Dantes turned and gave some orders to the men in his crew. The crew obeyed quickly and well.

Dantes: But the poor captain...

Morrel: Yes, yes, tell me about the captain. Did he fell overboard?

Dantes[watched the crew]: No, sir. He died of a fever a few days after we left Naples.

Dantes received a letter from Napoleon and he was asked to send it to Nuirtier. His coming back caused their anger. He was arrested on his wedding with Mercedes. 

Villefort: you will be free very soon, my friend. I will just look at the letter that you were carrying.

Dantes: Thank you, Monsieur! Here it is.

Villefort : Looked down at the envelope, and went white with horror. It was addressed to Monsieur N, his father! He threw the envelope away.

Villefort  [think]: Now there is only one person know about this letter. So I can hold my position as long as sealing up Dantes' mouth.

Dantes was put into the prison which  nobody could ran away.

Screen2---Out of the prison

During those days that he was imprisoned, he got a treasure map on the Monte Cristo from Priest, and escaped because of Priest 's death.

Dantes：（met smugglers）I'm a Maltese sailor(In Italian).Our boat broke up in the storm last night. My poor friends are all dead. Perhaps you'd like me to stay with you and work for you on this ship.

Smugglers: We really need someone like you.

Dantes: I was so frightened by last night's storm-I nearly went mad! I've almost forgotten my own name! By the way, what's the date -the year?

Smugglers: Well, today's date is February 28th,1829.

Dantes:( Narrator)Fourteen years before, to the today.(he sighed) 

With the light of hatred in his eyes, he thought of the revenge that he would  take on his enemies, Danglars, Fernand, and Villefort.

Dantes got the treasure and became very rich.

Dantes:(to the a passport holder）I'm Lord Wilmore.

Screen3---The beginning of revenge and thanks

Dantes bought all the places he remembered.

Dantes:Monsieur, I'd like to inform you that I've  paid off some of your debts.

Morrel: How-how much do I owe you?

（M has no idea and with a white face）

Dantes:I don't think you can pay the money back to me now. 

Morrel: You are right, Monsieur .

Dantes:I'll be back here at 11 o'clock on September 5th, for you to pay me what you owe me.

Morrel: You are very kind, Monsieur.

Dantes:(go downstairs and met Morrel's beautiful daughter)You'll get a message from someone called Sinbad the sailor.Do what the message tells you. Promise me.

Julie(the daughter):(worry)I promise, Monsieur.

TIME: on September 5th

Morrel:My god!I can't pay back the money.What a stupid loser I am ! I have no face to live in this place.(raise his gun)

Julie:Daddy,daddy!Please don't do this! I found the money from a sailor who called Sinbad.

Dantes:(whisper unhear)Be happy, Morrel. Now I've  repaid you for your      goodness in the past.

In Paris, the bandits kidnap Albert, and Sinbad the sailor saved him, because of his mother-his fiancee before he imprisoned.

Albert: You saved my life, Count. I'm very grateful!

PLACE: In Paris

Bertuccio: Villefort 's a wicked criminal, and the crime happened here!

Dantes: Bertuccio, tell me all about it.

Bertuccio: Villefort  had an illegitimate child and he wanted to kill him stealthily, but the child was save by a steward who had hatred with Villefort, and named the child Benedetto。

Dantes：Thank you Bertuccio.

The count found out that Maximilien Morrel had left Marseille after the death of  his father. He now lived with his sister Judie and her husband, in a pleasant  house in a quiet part of Paris.

Maximilien: Remember what our good father often told us-it was not an Englishman who saved him.

Dantes: Your father said what?

Maximilien: My father thought the man was someone who had come back from the dead-a dear, dear friend whom he had lost. When he was about to dead, his last words were, "It was Edmond Dantes.

Dantes was very touched.

Screen4---Revenge!

Monsieur Villefort's wife, Renee Saint-Meran, had died young, leaving him a daughter, Valentine. He married again, and, with his second wife, had a son, Edouard. They all lived in Villefort's large house in Paris, with his father, Monsieur Noirtier, who was paralysed after an illness.

Valentine: I'm here, Maximilien.

Maximilien: Do you still love me?

Valentine: You know I do, but I'll marry someone else. What should I do?

Maximilien: I'll take you go. Trust me.

Mrs. Villefort: I'll let everyone who stopped my dear son's future.

Newspaper: We have just found that, in the Greek war, a French officer took money from the enemy to help them kidnap and murder Ali Pasha, a friend of the French, The officer's first name was Fernand.

PLACE: Upper House

Haydee: You accepted the enemy's gold for the head of Ali Pasha! That's why you're rich today! I know, because I was there and saw it all! I'm Haydee, Ali Pasha's daughter!

·Dantes let bandits make Danglars bankruptcy.

Dantes also made Villefort have nothing at all.

Screen5---A new life

When all of Villefort's family members died, Valentine alive, because she is Maximilien's lover.

Maximilien:  Count, think about your happiness.

Haydee:  I love you, my owner.

Dantes smiled and left with Haydee.

Maximilien: Will we ever see him again.

Valentine: My dearest, we must do what he always did-wait and hope.
